I marked spoilers because I do spoil a little bit of the spice in this review so beware (it’s not huge but it could be, depending on the person lol)
The Dixon Rule by Elle Kennedy was SO worth the wait. Diana Dixon is a cheerleader who happens to be the unlucky (or lucky depending on how you look at it 😏) person who gets to live next to playboy hockey player, Shane Lindley. It’s a tale as old as time, she hates him, and he loves to annoy her 🤭.
This book has EVERYTHING. It had so many laughs, some solid spice (when I say my jaw was on the floor during the kitchen counter exhibition scene… 😉 )… and it has all the feels. With that said, I would definitely say the themes, especially towards the end of the book, were a bit heavier than what she usually writes, but I absolutely loved it! It allowed you to see more emotion from the main characters and it was perfectly executed. Elle Kennedy has a talent for being able to give you a book that has the ability to give you all the emotions and I am SO looking forward to the next book in the series!
