REVIEW POLICY

What types of Books I Review:

I review mainly romance and fantasy books. This includes spicy romance, sports romance, romantasy, contemporary romance, rom-com, etc. I also dabble in the occasional dystopian/sci-fi book, but there usually has to be romance (even if it’s a small amount) for me to not only read but also review. I would like it to go on the record that I have no trigger warnings. Most books that I review are a 3+ out of 5 on the spice scale. So fair warning to my readers. The books I tend to review are for readers 18 and up. Read at your own risk.

Formats I will Accept For Book Reviews:

ARCs/galleys and finished copies (print or digital are fine for both scenarios). I am an avid bookstagramer and have signed up for various PRs for books through accounts on Instagram. I am also on both NetGalley and Edelweiss as an option to receive books to review.

Things to Know When I Review a Book:

I read books often enough that I will finish an ARC/Galley given the opportunity and will provide my honest thoughts on your books. If any author wants to use snippets or whole parts of my reviews I will gladly let them, so long as credit is given and a proper tag/name on the social media app is done (my Instagram is @pennyandgoose_books) as these are my words and hard worked out thoughts on what I thought about your book.

Formats I won’t Accept For Book Reviews:

Anything not compatible with a Kindle/Kindle app and audiobooks.

Un-Related Review Thing:

I am open to doing giveaways, cover reveals, and other promotional things for your book. I want to provide quality content to my readers and followers on social media that will keep them engaged with my account and the author I am reviewing.
